openhpi-clients software package provides OpenHPI example client programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openhpi-clients
openhpi-clients is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openhpi-clients package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openhpi-clients *
You will get with openhpi-clients package name, version, architecture and description in a table
